ONE MONTH BEFORE STROKE, YOUR BODY WILL SEND YOU THESE WARNING SIGNS – DON’T IGNORE THEM!

Yes, and this is the main reason why in this article we are going to talk about strokes, the most common warning signs and how to protect yourself.

First, you should know that there are 2 major types of strokes: ischemic and hemorrhagic. Ischemic strokes are more common and are caused by a narrowing or blocking of arteries to the brain, resulting in severely reduced blood flow.

Hemorrhagic strokes are less common and are caused by bleeding in the brain. Can I ask you a simple question –  do you know what is stroke? Well, stroke is a disease that affects the arteries leading to and within the brain. And, it’s the no. 5 cause of death and a leading cause of disability in the United States.

A stroke occurs when a blood vessel that carries oxygen and nutrients to the brain is either blocked by a clot or bursts (or ruptures). When that happens, part of the brain cannot get the blood (and oxygen) it needs, so it and brain cells die. And, now you probably ask yourself – what are the effects of stroke? The brain is an extremely complex organ that controls various body functions.  If a stroke occurs and blood flow can’t reach the region that controls a particular body function, that part of the body won’t work as it should.

It’s extremely important to identify the warning signs of a stroke and get medical help as soon as possible to reduce the risk of serious damage to the brain. This can help lower the risk of death or disability and improve your chances of recovery. The medical experts say that the signs and symptoms may vary from one person to another depending on the type of stroke, the part of the brain affected and the extent of damage. But they all tend to begin suddenly.

Stroke – Most Common Symptoms

Hiccup.
Unconsciousness
Lightheadedness or weakness.
Pain.
Breathing problems.
Hallucinations.
Epileptic attacks.

I won’t disclose the amount Coke Africa paid me – Stonebwoy

“Go higher” hit maker and award-winning BET artiste; Stonebwoy says he will not bow to pressure from critics to disclose the amount of money Coke Africa paid him.

His response has silenced all critics who were demanding that he disclose the amount paid to him after Shatta Wale on radio told the world that he was paid $15,000.

Reacting to Shatta Wale’s comment on AM Pluzz with Sammy Flex, this is what he said:

“He can only disclose figures for himself but not for others since contractually, he doesn’t know what goes on in other people’s camp.

I don’t think it’s professional that much for people to talk their business publicly. We all know Shatta, talk money, talk this and that about his brand. Which is good for him but I think it’s a low blow for him to talk about my business and contract”.

Asked if he felt offended with what Shatta Wale said, he answered negatively.

“Can I feel offended, no, … because it’s not a new thing. We all know how an artiste and probably how He (Shatta Wale) say something in a smart way to discredit other peoples and credit himself.”

He added “But am long gone, am done with all that gimmicks. So it’s all cool for me, am not offended.”

“I can’t mention figures, at least He (Shatta Wale) has mentioned his figure and might as well show you his contract agreement. But I will not do that".

Shatta Wale in an interview expressed his displeasure with how the low amount of money paid to Ghanaian artistes in deals they get outside the country

Father vows to kill nurses ti avenge child's death

Father vows to kill nurses to avenge child's death.

A frustrated father has threatened to kill authorities at the Amasaman Government Hospital in the Greater Accra region after losing his 5-year-old daughter.

According to the father, the girl died after hospital authorities allegedly refused to attend to her on time to save her life.

The five year old child was rushed to the hospital after a severe fever on Saturday.

But devastated father told Adom News nurses at the hospital refused to attend to them because he had no money on him.

“I am devastated at the system in this country. I am not exactly proud of this country’s health system; that an innocent child died because his father did not have money for blood".

“What happened to the NHIS? Does it not include free health care for children under 16? What training are these medical practitioners getting that they allow a kid to die because his father can’t afford blood for him?

The father claims he is an Ewe and will kill anyone who had a hand in the child’s death.

But the Medical Superintendent of Ga-West Municipality, Dr Jabeth Abela said doctors tried their best to save the girl.

He indicated that, on Saturday the child was admitted and diagnosed with complicated Malaria and Severe Anaemia, with a low blood level.

So, the parents were asked to go for blood from Nsawam Hospital for a blood transfusion at 5:00am on Sunday, since the hospital did not have the blood type of the child.

Dr Abela noted that, the parents initially refused the blood transfusion when it was recommended to them on Sunday morning.

But they later agreed to it and went to get the blood, but the child died at 11:00 am on Sunday.

The Medical Superintendent added that, they have begun investigations to bring closue to the matter.
